British astronomer Stuart Taylor interprets many recent discoveries in astronomy for a broad audience. Lurking in the background of his discussion is a subtle exploration questioning the likelihood of finding another "Earth" orbiting around a distant star. The evidence for Earth's uniqueness is overwhelming to Taylor (who makes no overt claim to be a Christian) and strikes a harmonious chord with Dr. Ross's approach in The Creator and the Cosmos. While he covers some of the same ground as Rare Earth, Taylor's presentation is more accessible for non-scientists.
